COVID-19 and our commitment to you
Given the increasing global infection rates of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and the recent state and national emergency declared in Michigan and the United States, we have changed some of our work policies to first prioritize the safety of our employees, their families, and all our customers and business associates.
This notice provides an update on how Fleetilla is adapting to the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and how this might impact your interaction with us. We will continue to update our customers, as the situation evolves.
Working from Home, Health and Safety Policy
We are following guidelines from public health authorities , including Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and our own operational preparedness plan to ensure business continuity while working to protect the well being of our customers and colleagues. Further, as of March 16, 2020, we have adopted a Work From Home policy for employees who are able to work remotely, as a matter of precaution, although we have had no known cases of infection. We will retain this policy until the threat of the virus has passed, or has reduced substantially.
Fleetilla Software and Services to Continue Uninterrupted
Fleetilla employs geographically-distributed infrastructure provided by leading vendors for various service tiers. We are also working closely with our suppliers, carrier partners, hosting providers, contract manufacturers, and other critical partners and vendors to monitor, on an ongoing basis, for alerts that could potentially impact our ecosystem. At this stage, we do not anticipate any change to Fleetilla services in any geographic region. Customers should expect to receive the same level of services as before. Should there be any changes due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you.
Customer Support to Continue Uninterrupted
Support staff utilizes cloud-based software that can be accessed remotely, enabling working from home. Our customer support teams have been set up to address and resolve customer issues, remotely. We expect things to work reasonably well. Over time, some customers may see some degradation in customer support and this could be due to slower connections, or ISP home broadband services that may start to choke as more and more businesses and students around the globe start to work from home. All your usual channels to reach us — phone, web, and email— will remain open.
New Orders/Additions and the Supply Chain
As the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 increases globally, business supply chains and operations can be impacted. Please make sure to get in touch with us if you are anticipating additional hardware or accessory needs. It is important to plan in advance and place orders well ahead of time.
Travel & On-Site Meetings & Training
Effective March 16th, 2020 we have suspended all non-essential travel and on-site customer & vendor meetings & training sessions until further notice. We will continue to use teleconferencing to work with our customers via phone and web to ensure service is delivered uninterrupted.
We hope this virus will be contained soon and that life resumes normally for all of us. As always, we thank you all for your business with Fleetilla and will do everything we can to ensure that your business can continue to operate with minimal disruption. Please stay safe and we wish you and your families the best.
